Last week’s blog spawned an awesome evening of schmoozing at the TechCrunch Meet-Up (see below for highlights & photos) so we’re keeping the spotlight on more upcoming events so we can continue the schmoozing! Read on for tips on TechCrawling and Movie Screening!

Check out their digs, hear about their products and meet the people leading the technology movement in Savannah – while enjoying food, beverages and a scenic ride around downtown courtesy of Old Savannah Trolley.
Join the DOWNTOWN TECH CRAWL at any scheduled stop or RSVP Here for a spot on the Trolley.
The crawl takes place from 4pm – 6:30pm with libations and conversation at ThincSavannah from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
Last Call at the Oasis
One Night Special Screening / Wednesday, July 25, at 7:30 pm
Check out the special one night showing of Last Call at the Oasis, Wednesday, July 25, at 7:30 pm. Produced by the same crew of An Inconvenient Truth, Food Inc. and Waiting for Superman fame, Last Call at the Oasis presents a powerful argument for why the global water crisis will be the central issue facing our world this century.
This thought-provoking film is presented by Well FED in cooperation with Participant Media and Tugg.com. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Savannah Urban Garden Alliance.
The film will be screened at the Carmike Wynnsong 11 Cinemas (1150 Shawnee Street / behind Savannah Mall) one night only. Tickets by reservation only ($10 each) and all attendees receive free gift bags valued at over $25 in addition to door prizes and raffles (before and after the film so arrive early and stay late!). Hang around after the film for a super social event and meet the people behind Well FED and other community organizations.

Tech Crunch
TechCrunchers Jordan, Bryce, and John spent some time in Savannah on their Southeast Mini-Meetup Tour and we hosted their visit at The Creative Coast last Friday (July 6th). We saw a lot of familiar faces in the crowd and several new faces. Hopefully everyone had chance to meet the TechCrunch crew and tell them about your fantastic projects and companies. It was a great turn out with excellent refreshments provided by Revival Foods and Rails Machine. Check out the photos here!
